Update - August 25, 2017

It's sticky and steamy outside but fall yarns are stuffing the shelves and designers are dropping new projects daily.   We've got some fun events planned so grab your calendar and your needles and get ready for some fun!

Malabrigo Mechita is here in 23 gorgeous colors.  It's a slightly felted, single ply, superwash, fingering weight (now that's a mouthful!). Just in time JoJi Locotelli released two new patterns using it: a flattering long lightweight cardigan, http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/longline-cardigan-3 and a fun to knit and fun to wear cowl, http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/bobble-cowl-10 .  I'm pretty sure that Joyce already has the cowl on her needles.

One Eternity Later....pardon the SpongeBob reference but it's appropriate and I'm sure the wait will be worth it when we finally receive the Boon Skinny from Woolen Boon.  It is also a single ply fingering weight superwash but the dye process and the colors are something completely different and fabulous!  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/so-faded need I say more?

There's no more waiting necessary for the Knitted Wit Aran superwash.  It is front and center so that I can keep looking at it!  This yarn is heaven and the colors are rich and vibrant.  Sue got an early batch so we'd have a sample ready.  She whipped up this cardigan, http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/harvest-moon-6 and I can't keep it off even on these hot days with my personal heater working overtime.  It must be touched!

We've got new colors of chunky alpaca and worsted and DK superwash, new buttons, super soft angora pom poms, new needles from Lykke and loads of ideas for making all of it into something wonderful and new for fall!  There's so many more new yarns to come and I'm excited to see the shop transform for this season.

See you soon,
Theresa
