HOW TO DO A PROVISIONAL CAST-ON CLASS

So many patterns call for this cast on which, when done correctly, is easily removed later to reveal live stitches.  In this quick class I'll teach you one method for successfully doing this cast on and how to remove it later to get the live stitches.

Materials: about 25 yards of worsted weight yarn, about 3 yards of waste yarn in a different color, G or H crochet hook, and size 8 knitting needles.

Dates/Times: Saturday May 2, 9:00 - 10:00

PRICE: $10

HOW TO FIX MISTAKES CLASS

In this class Sharon will teach you how to fix all the typical knitting mistakes.  You will learn to pick up dropped stitches, undo the knit stitch, undo the purl stitch, undo a K2tog, and undo an SSK.  She will also show you how to pick up forgotten yarn overs, to do a basic rip back, and pick up live stitches and orient them properly. If there is time you'll also learn how to install a lifeline, and then rip back to pick up the stitches on the lifeline.  I this is definitely two hours well spent!

Dates/Times: Saturday, May 30, 9:00 - 11:00

PRICE: $25
