AEOLIAN INTERMEDIATE LACE SHAWL CLASS

Come and knit this gorgeous piece that will complement your wardrobe for years to come. Choose your sizing, Small, Medium, or Large. This pattern is written for many yarn weights/sizes. The charts flow easily from one to the next. Expect to knit 6 different charts, however it is a very user-friendly knit. There are "rest rows" (purl rows) on the wrong side of the knitting. You can choose to add Nupps and beads, or none of these design elements at all. The lace stands out on it's own. Sharon will teach the crochet hook method of knitting Nupps, (a bit easier to execute than knitted Nupps). This class is suitable for an intermediate lace knitter. You should have a bit of experience in knitting simple lace with yarn overs/decreases.

See Sharon's version on Ravelry here: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Stitchmistress/aeolian-shawl

HOW TO DO A PROVISIONAL CAST-ON CLASS

HOW TO FIX MISTAKES CLASS

In this class Sharon will teach you how to fix all the typical knitting mistakes.  You will learn to pick up dropped stitches, undo the knit stitch, undo the purl stitch, undo a K2tog, and undo an SSK.  She will also show you how to pick up forgotten yarn overs, to do a basic rip back, and pick up live stitches and orient them properly. If there is time you'll also learn how to install a lifeline, and then rip back to pick up the stitches on the lifeline.  I this is definitely two hours well spent!
