This essential, yet often ignored step, is the single most important step in creating garments that fit.   In our excitement to begin a new project, every single one of us would love to skip this pain in the neck and just get started already.  Most people figure out the hard way that skipping it only creates problems later.  In this class I'll teach you how to do it quickly easily and accurately for both flat knits and in-the-round knits so that you can do and move on to your project already!

Dates/Times: November 16, 9:00 - 10:00

PRICE: $10

In class Sharon will teach you how to fix the typical knitting mistakes.  You will learn to pick up dropped stitches, undo the knit stitch, undo the purl stitch, undo a K2tog, and undo an SSK.  She will also show you how to pick up forgotten yarn overs, to do a basic rip back, and pick up live stitches and orient them properly. If there is time you'll also learn how to install a lifeline, and then rip back to pick up the stitches on the lifeline.  I this is definitely two hours well spent!

Dates/Times: December 7, 9:00 - 11:00

PRICE: $25

Chix With Stix

This series of classes started at Yarn Central and has been continued here at Out of the Loop.  You'll work on your own project and learn at your own pace with inspiration from your classmates, who come with different levels of experience.  Some of the classes have a mix of knitters and crocheters.  We have had so much fun with these classes that some have been together for as long as eight years. Come with a project that you requires a little help and you'll find much more than instruction in these groups.  You choose a day and time that works for you, purchase classes in groups of 4 for $30 and keep coming for as long as you can.
